Saxby Back In The Hot Seat

December 2nd was the runoff election for the Georgia senate. Now remember Georgia was a republican state during the presidential election so the chances for a democrat getting the ticket in Georgia was kind of non existent.

Saxby defeated his rival Jim Martin with 57% of the vote to 43%. Saxby brought out the big dogs of the republican party with John McCain and Sarah Palin making stops down here. Martin had Clinton and Gore but no Hilary and no President elect Obama.
