Censoring Bruno

The gay superstar Bruno will be toned down for his adored younger fans in the United Kingdom. I don't know how funny the movie would really be if its extremely censored to be suitable for children age 15 and younger. So that means all of the sexual explicit scenes will be cut out.

The most significant cut that Universal will make involves a scene where Bruno is miming oral and anal sex that he pretends to be having with a dead man he got into contacted with through a medium. The other two scenes that were cut out include an exaggerated sex act between Bruno and his boyfriend in a hotel room and couples having sex at a swingers party.

The uncensored version has made $8 million in the first weekend only open in 8 theaters in the United Kingdom and made $30.4 million here in the United States in its opening weekend.
