The next edition of the Windows OS is finally here. They were open sourcing it a few months ago and then stopped. but now Windows 7 RC [Release Candidate] is available for download through July 2009. The RC version is not meant for your everyday consumer it is more for those who get a kick out of trying out pre-released software.
Starting March 1st 2010 your computer will shut down every two hours letting you know it is time to purchase the full version of Windows 7.
