The Right Way to Message!

This is a post I have been meaning to do for so long and I felt like I needed to say this. It is kind of basic rules when it comes to sending an Instant Message, text message or Email to someone.

Abbreviation is a popular thing when it comes to turning you're message into a text format but there are just some things you do not need. The one thing i hate more than anything is when people tell me "OK." Should you even be allowed text anything if all you can say is "OK." If it is a text message going over wireless phone networks that something you should just keep to yourself. The other person doesn't want to waste their time reading "OK" it is stupid! Whenever someone sends me an "OK" i send them an "OK" right back because its stupid! This same rule applies to instant messaging. That is a back and forth thing so short messages are okay but do not make it stupid!!

When it comes to e-mail. It is also important to get to the point but please have more than 3 words to say. That is another instance where something short is not necessary. If you are keeping it short to two words when you are taking the time to evaluate, keep it to yourself please!!!
