Gay movies worth watching!

Whenever we do movies on the Warm and Tasty Blog they are more than likely going to be a Gay Film rather than your standard blockbuster films. So today we are going to spotlight the soon to be released "Dirty Laundry." Available on TLA Films website Oct 14, 2008.

Filmmaker Maurice Jamal’s [who also did the gay movie Ski Trip] second feature is a family comedy that was a major hit on the film festival circuit last year. A prodigal son story with a twist, Dirty Laundry follows Patrick (Rockmond Dunbar), a black gay man who seems to have the perfect life - a great job at an upscale magazine, a cute young boyfriend and a hot apartment. Then a knock on his door sends him back to the traditionally crazed southern family he hasn’t seen in a decade. Mother Evelyn (Loretta Devine) is keeping a secret from him, nosy church lady Aunt Lettuce (Jenifer Lewis) won’t leave him alone, and his boyfriend makes a surprise appearance! With a rocking, gospel-infused soundtrack and an appearance by Alec Mapa, this wonderful comedy is designed to tickle the funny bone and touch the soul. Below is a trailor for the movie.
