Scirocco coming to America!

The retro sports coupe from the 70's and 80's had a comeback this century in the European market and wasn't going to be produced here in the U.S. because VW feared it would interfere with VW Golf sales. But it is official the U.S. will be getting the new and improved Volkswagen Scirocco.

However it will be a limited edition vehicle. The platform is similar to that of the VW Golf GTI it just sits lower and is a little sleeker than its Golf counterpart. When looking at it, the Scirocco looks like it would compete with the Scion Xb and the Saturn Astra.
